The Devaner band was formed in early March 2016. After putting together the four-person lineup, i.e. Artur Jakończuk – bass and vocal, Marek Bowtruczuk – guitar, Piotr Sopek – guitar and Paweł Olszewski – drums, regular rehearsals began. In terms of music, we were inspired by thrash metal bands from the 1990s, especially Sepultura from the time of the “Arise” album. After a year of playing together, Paweł and Marek left the band. Not having a second guitarist and a drummer, we started the search by looking through advertisements on the Internet. Bartłomiej Gałaj contacted us via Facebook and took up the position of the second guitarist as well as the vocalist. We didn’t have a drummer but still wanted to create music, so we had to use a drum machine. In December 2017, we released an album titled “Fear of Being Born” which included nine songs, i.e. “Raising Fear”, “Decree Of Death”, “Sick World”, “Only The Dead Do Not Lie”, “Servant Of God”, “Sacrum/Profanum” , “Pandemonic Black Abyss”, “Deadline” and “Aamon – Come To Hell”. At the beginning of 2018, Bartek and our bassist Artur left the band. After such changes, the group had a year-long break. At the beginning of 2019, Piotrek Malec joined the band on drums, Mikołaj Staszczuk on bass guitar, and Sebastian Konieczny took the place of the second guitarist and the vocalist. In the fall of 2019, there was yet another change in the lineup, Miłosz Czerwonka took Piotr Malec’s place on drums. With this lineup, we were ready to perform. Unfortunately by that time the pandemic had already started and all the clubs were closed. All we could do was meet at rehearsals and continue practicing. In April 2021, we released the single “Death For Death”. In addition to the song, the single included a video clip. In June 2021, we played our first concert as a part of the Rockowania 2021 competition. We managed to enter the next stage of the contest and ended up coming in second place. In addition to performing, we devoted 2022 to the creation of our second album, which was released on November 22nd. The album “Never Forget Never Forgive” contained eight new compositions, i.e. “Under One God”, “Never Forget Never Forgive”, “Bloodshed Of Slayer”, “3232”, “Song Of Desolation”, “Lusting My Blood”, “The New Order”, “The Beginning Is The End” plus a cover of S.O.D.’s “United Forces”. In January 2023, Sebastian Konieczny left the team and his place was taken by Alex Quintero from Mexico. With Alex in the lineup, we recorded a music video for the song “Never Forget Never Forgive”. After the concert in Lublin on May 5th, 2023, Alex wasn’t feeling well and had to leave the band due to his health issues. In July 2023, Andrii Klymenko from Ukraine joined Devaner as the second guitarist. The role of the vocalist was taken over by our bassist, Mikołaj Staszczuk. With this lineup we played a few very successful concerts. Unfortunately, there was one more change awaiting us. In November 2023, our drummer Miłosz Czerwonka left and was replaced by Kacper Białecki. That is how we entered 2024.

Zespół Devaner powstał na początku marca 2016 roku. Po ustabilizowaniu czteroosobowego składu tj. Artur Jakończuk – bass, voc, Marek Bowtruczuk – guitar, Piotr Sopek – guitar i Paweł Olszewski – drum rozpoczęły się regularne próby. Muzycznie wzorowaliśmy się na thrash metalowych zespołach z lat dziewięćdziesiątych a głownie na Sepulturze z czasów płyty „Arise”. Po roku wspólnego grania z zespołu odeszli Paweł i Marek.Nie mając drugiego gitarzysty i perkusisty rozpoczęliśmy poszukiwania poprzez ogłoszenia w internecie. Poprzez Facebooka nawiązał z nami kontakt Bartłomiej Gałaj, który zajął stanowisko drugiego gitarzysty i wokalisty jednocześnie. Nie mając perkusisty a chcą tworzyć nadal muzykę musieliśmy wykorzystać automat perkusyjny. W grudniu 2017 wydaliśmy płytę pt. „Fear of Being Born” w skład której weszło dziewięć utworów tj. „Raising Fear”, „Decree Of Death”, „Sick World”, „Only The Dead Do Not Lie”, „Servant Of God”, „Sacrum/Profanum”, „Pandemonic Black Abyss”, „Deadline” i „Aamon – Come To Hell”. Na początku 2018 roku szeregi opuścił basista Artur i Bartek. Po takich zmianach zespół miał roczną przerwę w działalności. Na początku 2019 roku do składu dołączył Piotrek Malec na perkusji, Mikołaj Staszczuk na gitarze basowej a miejsce drugiego gitarzysty i wokalisty zarazem zajął Sebastian Konieczny. Na jesieni 2019 roku nastąpiła jeszcze jedna zmiana w składzie, miejsce Piotrka Malca za perkusją zajął Miłosz Czerwonka. 

W takim składzie byliśmy gotowi do występów ale to już był czas pandemii i wszelkie kluby były pozamykane. Pozostało nam spotykanie na próbach i dalsze ćwiczenia. W kwietniu 2021 roku wydaliśmy singiel „Death For Death”. Na singlu oprócz utworu znalazł się też videoklip. W czerwcu 2021 roku zagraliśmy nasz pierwszy koncert w ramach przeglądu Rockowania 2021. Udało nam się przejść dalej a finalnie zajęliśmy w nim II miejsce.  Rok 2022 oprócz koncertowania poświęciliśmy na wydanie naszego drugiego albumu, który ukazał się dokładnie 22 listopada. Na płycie “Never Forget Never Forgive” znalazło się 8 premierowych kompozycji tj. „Under One God”, „Never Forget Never Forgive”, „Bloodshed Of Slayer”, „3232”, „Song Of Desolation”, „Lusting My Blood”, „The New Order”, „The Beginning Is The End” plus cover S.O.D. – United Forces. W styczniu 2023 z zespołem rozstał się Sebastian Konieczny a jego miejsce zajął pochodzący z Meksyku Alx Quintero. Już z Alexem w składzie nakręciliśmy teledysk to utworu „Never Forget Never Forgive”. Po koncercie w Lublinie 05 maja 2023 Alex bardzo źle się poczuł i z uwagi na zdrowie musiał opuścić zespół. W lipcu 2023 roku do składu Devaner dołączył jako drugi gitarzysta pochodzący z Ukrainy Andrii Klymenko. Rolę wokalisty przejął dotychczasowy tylko basista Mikołaj Staszczuk. W tym składzie zagraliśmy kilka bardzo udanych koncertów. Niestety czekała nas jeszcze jedna zmiana. W listopadzie 2023 odszedł nasz perkusista Miłosz Czerwonka a jego miejsce zajął Kacper Białecki. W takim oto składzie weszliśmy w 2024 rok.
